Why Choose Physical Therapy

Did you know...

Physical therapists have professional doctoral degrees
Physical therapists go through 3 years of postgraduate training and graduate with a doctorate in physical therapy. As movement experts, they know all about the muscle and bones. But they also have knowledge about other systems of the body that affect and are affected by movement including but not limited to the cardiovascular, endocrine, and nervous system.

This means they can diagnosis and treat people of all ages to improve their ability to move, reduce or manage pain, restore function, prevent disability, and improve fitness. Learn more about physical therapists here.
You can see a physical therapists first when you are in pain
California Direct Access Law allows you to see a Physical Therapist right away for 12 visits or 45 calendar days, whichever occurs first. This means you can get assessed and treated for any issues involving pain and movement without waiting at least 2-4 weeks to see a doctor before getting treatment.
See a physical therapy first to heal faster
If you are in pain, the faster you address the problem, the quicker you are able to recover and return to your life. Ignoring the problem or just addressing the symptoms can lead to prolonged disability, reliance on medication, as well as more injury and/or surgery. Many of my patients reach out to me first when they just get injured to help get pain relief and recover faster with less complications.
